Description:

DSPE peg amine (dspe-peg-nh2) is one of the reactive phospholipid peg reagents, which has a reactive primary amino group at the end of a peg. DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycerin-3-ethanolamine phosphate) is a kind of saturated 18C phospholipid commonly used in liposome synthesis. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) - conjugated DSPE is hydrophilic and hydrophobic, which can be used in drug delivery, gene transfection and biomolecular modification. The PEGylation of phospholipids significantly improved the blood circulation time and stability of encapsulated drugs. Amine functionalized DSPE peg can further modify peg lipids through its reactive amino groups.

DSPE-PEG (2000) -nh2 is coated on the surface of fluorescein diacetate (FDA) nanocrystals to provide an interface for antibody coupling. Fda[dspe-peg (2000) nh2] modified biomarkers have highly stable colloidal suspensions with minimal nonspecific interactions.
