Product details:
Due to the optical activity of lactic acid, there are three corresponding types of polylactic acid: PDLA, PLLA, and PDLLA. Commonly used and readily available are PDLLA and PLLA, respectively obtained from racemic systems of lactic acid or lactide.
Molecular weight (PLA): customized between 1000 and 60000, other molecular weights can be customized or not provided.
Solvent: Conventional organic solvents such as chloroform, dichloromethane, acetone, DMF, DMSO, etc.
Character: Semi solid or solid, depending on molecular weight.
Stability: Refrigerate and store under dry and dark conditions to avoid repeated freeze-thaw.

Handling and use:
PLA products are sensitive to light and temperature. In order to achieve optimal usage, the material should always be kept at a low temperature under dry conditions to avoid frequent thawing and freezing.
Polylactic acid (PLA) is made from crops such as corn and cassava as raw materials, which are fermented and extracted by microorganisms to obtain lactic acid. It is then refined, dehydrated, oligomerized, high-temperature cracked, and polymerized. PLA has excellent biodegradability, and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil within one year after disposal, generating CO2 and water, without polluting the environment. PLA itself belongs to the aliphatic polyester group and has the basic characteristics of a general-purpose polymer material. It has good mechanical processing performance, low shrinkage rate, and can be used for most synthetic plastic applications. It is widely used in the production of packaging materials, disposable tableware, home appliance shells, fibers, 3D consumables, and so on.
