Description:

CY5-PEG-NH2 is a reactive near-infrared fluorescent PEG derivative with an excitation/emission wavelength of 650 nm/670 nm. Cy5 fluorophore emits strong near-infrared fluorescence when excited at 650 nm, while amine can react with a variety of amine reaction groups, such as succinimide NHS ester, aldehyde, etc. The reactions between amines and other functional groups allow Cy5-PEG labeling and binding to the surface of proteins, antibodies, or particles. The PEG linker between Cy5 dye and amine has better water solubility, flexible connection structure, and enhanced stability compared to other common fluorescent dyes.
