FITC-PEG-COOH is an amphiphilic ABC triblock copolymer composed of hydrophilic block polyethylene glycol (PEG) and hydrophobic block fluorescein (FITC). FITC labeled polyethylene glycol is a fluorescent PEG derivative with maximum absorption at 495 nm and emission near 515-520 nm. FITC shows bright chartreuse fluorescence.
