Description:
Aldehyde peg is an amine reactive peg derivative, which can be used to modify biomolecules through available amine groups. An intermediate Schiff base is produced by the reaction between the ε - amine of aldehyde group and lysine residue and the α - amine of N-terminal. A stable CN bond will be formed by further reduction with hydride. Peg aldehydes react with amines at pH 5.5 to 9.5. Higher pH value will lead to multiple PEGylation of the terminal and lysine groups. Aldehyde peg is a common peg reagent for N-terminal PEGylation of protein or peptide.
Handlingand Use:
The target substance was dissolved in polyethylene glycol buffer solution. The concentration of primary amine group on the target material was estimated. Peg aldehyde stock solution was added to the target conjugate, and the final concentration was maintained at least 10 mg / ml. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours, or overnight at room temperature 4 ℃. After the reaction, the C = n bond can be reduced by sodium borohydride. The conjugate can be purified by size exclusion chromatography or dialysis.
Storage condition:
